Hi Gang,

So I bought the following from Ray and I found they are set to channels 1,2,3... I want to change the channels these use so that each can be controlled.

Here are the floods:

Thanks

Kip

you will need one of these AT3031 DMX address writer for setting the dmx address:

and some-info

1. Connect dc power to the flood - most likely pink & black wires
2. Cut the ribbon connector supplied with the programmer, and connect the 3 wires to the right of the programmer to GND, DMX+ and DMX- (there is a label on the back of the programmer).   You don't need to connect the SOUT wire.   (in my case, I use black 3-core waterproof connectors for my dmx cabling, so I simply connected a connector to the ribbon cable)
3. Put 3 AA batteries in, and turn on the programmer (leave the 4 dip switches at 0).  It'll show a couple numbers on the display (1-7-2 I think), and then go to 0.
4. Press the FUNC button until 2 is displayed in the left of the display
5. Use the UP/DOWN keys to select the DMX start channel..  In my case, the buttons weren't very responsive.  I needed to hold down the buttons a bit, and sometimes release and try again in order for them to register... You need to choose a number one below your start DMX channel.. So to set the flood to 3,4,5, you need to have 2 selected.
6.  Hit the "Action" button, and then hit it again. (so twice)  The flood should react to this with a couple colour changes.
7. All done - you can disconnect the flood, and it'll be re-programmed.
The programmer actually then adds 3 to the start channel for you automatically, so if you're programming a group of floods, just leave the device turned on, swap the DMX cable to the next one, and hit "action" twice again, and the next one will be done.
