this was our first year using LOR.  i need to do some touch up on timings on a couple of the songs but overall we were happy with our first year.. and the neighborhood loved it... being the only family doing this in our neighborhood kept the audience from noticing the off beats.. but, those will be fixed next year along with some other changes.

Pretty nice for your first year!

thanks. I need more work on sequencing. Not very good with music but at least I can see where it needs work. We only used about 2/3 of the light we have. Next year will be changed up a little and possibly adding RGB

This was my second year so when I went to figure that second year out, I too was looking at my first year's efforts then moved forward, fixed mistakes and generally made improvements. This year, I'm already setting up, fabricating and will be sequencing both RGB dumb strips as well as a pixel tree this year. I've got lots of lights, so I'm thinking of adding firesticks. Something I saw on the Great Christmas Light Fight show...one house had these long light lines from the house to the front yard and they had individual sections sequenced such as an arch would have. Anyway, I'm thining about doing that here too as it looked cool. Getting them tight in the wind though is the issue. I wouldn't want them to flop around out there which would cause failures. Anyway, just a thought at the moment.

New next door neighbors as they just bought the home for sale next too me and when they were moving, I saw some Christmas decorations! Hoping they decorate. The people on the other side, they only hung out a wreath and that was it. They offered me to decorate their house/yard which was nice of them, but they didn't offer buying any lights, props or nothing. I didn't move into their yard.

Nice! I like the megaTree on the left with the spiral wrap over the vertical.
