derekb
I am starting work on my 12 CCR tree. I love the star superstar lights makes and uses, but I am looking for a cheaper, but cool 6 channel star. Those who have 12 CCR stars, is there a wireframe or other design you like and use that is 6 channels? Seems most of the wireframes I am finding are 4-5 channels. Thanks! oilmoney
I used the superstar star, it's super bright and for the DIY price of $250 I enjoyed putting it together.
derekb
I might have to do that, if I don't find anything else. I like how it looks like a start during the day also.
derekb
I should have just added up the cost beforehand. I just calculated the cost of the plastic, the LED lights, and shipping and it is cheaper to buy the star kit. And then to take my time into consideration. Anyway, star kit on order now. Ron Boyd
If you get that kit and do the drilling yourself, let me know, I have a full scale pdf of the drill points. Very similar to Brians. You can take the pdf to a print shop and have them print it out on one sheet or it takes I think 8 sheets of paper at home. You'll have to put the pages together. I also have a visualizer file that is made from the same pdf. If you want them, pm me your email address and I'll send them to you.

oilmoney
The kit comes pre drilled unless you're referring to predrilling the pilot holes for the side pieces.

Ron Boyd
Since I went RGB on mine, I just ordered the un-drilled HOPE star from Brian and drilled the holes myself. Just thought I'd mention that. If you order the entire kit with lights, he sends it pre-drilled That was supposed to be HDPE
