240v 10amp?

hi..im in australia and i just recived my controler and was led to believe i could use it at home in standid 10amp outlets is this incorrect?? because the power plugs on the controler say 15amp 250v../  just asking because i dont hav any 15amp outlets here at home. :(  i ask this question before i purchase ..this was the responce

 

A Light-O-Rama help desk staff member has replied to your request, ####### with the following response:

Yes. Our controllers are rated 15A per side at 120V. Since you have 240V they are 7A per side.

We do ship to Australia. Place your order via our online store and during the checkout process tell us you want the Australian option. We'll preconfigure the units for 240VAC and where needed, add Australian power cords and power dongles.

Read the manual and insure that the jumper is in the right location for 220 or 240 volts. As for the connectors. Remember we dont have your style of connectors laying around. You will need to cut off our 110V style connector and install one of yours.

Mainly on some of the board there is jumpers to wire the two line side winding in the transformer either in parallel for 110V or in series for 220V. That is the only difference between the two models.
