JPat
To those that use these in their displays, do you make your own or purchase the snowflakes?
djr
Purchased my 3 dozen, but I believe they have been out of business for 3 years. Wish I had bought more at the time. I think I paid $65 a dozen shipped.

rainyoregonchristmas
Oooooo $65/dozen. Fabricating is not cheap, especially if they are painted. Must not have been made in country. At that cost you'd be looking at $5.50 each. It'd cost you about that to just have them powder coated. Not counting materials and time and then shipping. Let alone lights eek! I'd have jumped on that too.... Anyway I fabricate my own. I use 1/4" mild steel round stock for my material. Then I rattle can them white. I use Mini Light clips to attach the lights. For the lights, I use incan icicle lights divided at the two wire sections and add my own plugs. I believe mine are 26" across.
Santas Helper
These were PVC/plastic white, about 1/4" thick or so. Ican lights included. I changed mine to pure white LEDs pretty easily. The Ican light strands were made specifically for these, which I still have.Wished I would have purchased about 4 dozen or more because yes, that was VERY cheap for how well they were made.I'm guessing they went under either because of not much demand or they just sold them WAY too cheap. It was a limited production (from my understanding) and once all gone, that was it.
