George Simmons 1,210
So here we are at the exact midway point for those of us who have a Thanksgiving to New Year's Eve season. Seems to go by faster and faster every year. So what's the song that your viewers have proclaimed as their favorite this year? For my viewers, in an admittedly small sample size so far, it seems to be the "Ferris Buehler song", otherwise known as Oh Yeah! And believe it or not, The Fox is a very close second. Personally, my favorite is Winter Palace.
a31ford 65
"Oh Ya", is done by the group "Yello" (for those that need to know So far for me, Crystallize by Lindsey Sterling seems to be popular, BUT remember, I live where it is currently (and has been) -23 (That's a minus sign in front of that )........................ for the last 5 weeks....................... MikeERWNC 71
Soldiers Silent Night.I have my twenty feet talking star narrate it.It is the forth sequence in my line up right after the Marine Corps hymn and the two openings, Robot -THX and 2001 Space Odyssey. The show should be fun, but we should also remind our viewers why we can have such shows. Guaranteed to bring a tear to the viewers.

Forget the viewers - I've been using it on 12/23 and 12/24 for the past three or four years and I can't hear it myself without choking up.

shampooshiper 3
We actually just asked on that question on our Facebook page this weekend. So far, the #1 song is My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up) by Fall Out Boy. However, the song I hear being sung the loudest by the kids is by far the little snip it of What Does The Fox Say!!
plasmadrive 320
All my songs are of a Christmas theme.. more or less.... so the most popular is the Sugar Plumb Groove.

rwertz 21
This year I broke down and did a fairly wimpy sequence for Real Men of Genius - Mr. Too Many Christmas Decorations Guy and it seems to be a hit with viewers. Within our own family Winter Palace is definitely the favorite.

Santas Helper 1,005
Very nice George,Here is my version. I'm too close to include the mini trees in the driveway and the audio is raw straight from the radio. But you get the idea. http://s245.photobucket.com/user/frightnight_photos/media/Toms%20videos/MOV05081_zpscf0af834.mp4.html
Tony Shepherd 12
I have to say that Christmas Sarajevo by TSO still does it for me. It has everything including a Christmas start. The majority of people who come and watch have never heard of TSO. It's only us sad people who live and breath this addiction all year that think we should have something new. Stick with what works is my philosophy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6uLtYh98QbY
Mark J. M. 1
My audience likes Do you hear what I hear by Vanessa Williams and Snoopy's Christmas. For me, I can't listen to The Christmas Shoes at all because I will start crying from nearly the beginning of the song. My mom died when I was thirty and this song reminds of that every time I hear it.
George Simmons 1,210
Since my original post I've asked more people. Kids are particularly prone to be vocal, I've found. I'm actually enjoying asking them what they like best. Gives me a whole different perspective, that's for sure. Amongst the younger ones, The Fox is leading, probably on the strength of the house making faces at them. I hear them out front sometimes when it's above zero just squealing and laughing. It's really cool. But I digress. Amongst grade-school ages, it's The Fox - by far. Gummy Bear song seems to be in second place. Adults seem split between Winter Palace and - get ready for this - Let Me Roll It by Paul McCartney and Wings. (It should be noted that I've yet to get any of the Pink Floyd into the rotation, so those results may be a bit skewed.) As always, YMMV.
Santas Helper 1,005
George, you should be ashamed. Pink Floyd NOT in the rotation ??? You have your homework now. Get PF in and get out there and get them results!!!
