Paul61975
I've seen it multiple times on the message boards but have no idea as to what it is?
Brian Mitchell
RGB stands for Red Green Blue. It is a cluster of three LED's. When changing the intensity of the colors in a RGB pixel, you can create virtually any color.
scubado
They also come in a wide variety of styles and technologies. LOR is the easiest and best service/warranty. DMX is cheaper but more to learn. E1.31 is for bigger setups. There are smart rgb's where each pixel is addressable and dumb rgb where the whole string or ribbon is one pixel. k6ccc
E1.31 is for bigger setups. Ah, come on scubado, For my landscape lighting I'm using E1.31 for 17 pixels off a SanDevices E6804. Once I'm done with the landscaping I will have almost 200 more feet of pixels under E1.31. OK, I'm not normal... OK, I admit that during Christmas I'm using E1.31 for an additional 960 pixels off an E682.
