not bragging just curious who has the tallest/largest display?

my display is about 250 feet from end to end the tower is about 42 foot tall with a 5 foot tall 3D star on the top, the base of the tower is about 13 feet above the street so that adds up to about 60 foot tall. between the tower and the star there are 388 RGB pixels.

It's not the size of the mega tree that counts.... it's how you sequence it.... or so I'm told.  Mine's only 16'5" and for my lot, that's about all that would fit.  I did debate about putting it on the roof to make it taller... but that is a pariah up here in the North West.  We all know how that'd end.  (What, it's a discussion on mega trees, someone had to bring that up....or down...)

The not so mega, mega tree I put in my neighbors yard is 11 feet.  These city lots and the overhead lines are not conducive to large trees.... I need to move.

Maybe Randall will have time to comment on his tree. I do see two star's on the top of his so not sure how much taller that made it. My mega tree is 35 feet tall with 64 channels of LOR on just the tree and another 16 channels spread out in the tree..

Definitely not the tallest as Tim has that....but I think it will be up there with one of the biggest displays. Its commercial display so doesn’t qualify with those residential. 2 mile long drive-thru, 9 mega trees (one of the 45') and a bunch of other elements. 200K of extension cables and about 1 million LED lights. I did the programming and S&K put up all the lights/props.

Fred Loya in El Paso has a crazy large display. He used 300K Technicolor lights….so at least 900K channels. Whoa!! I think he hired a whole production crew and probably spent a truck load of money.

Hey Kevin, in your first link, isn't that Shadrack's show location, or used to be?

Correct...use to be. The location is the same in Nashville, TN, but completely new props, lights, design.....I guess you can say different "management" too. Not Shadrack anymore. I beleieve they have thier own show somewhere else. I sequence 6 songs and Holdman did 5 or 6 too.

Is it a public park or something that allows you to do such a show?

if it is what I think it is, Nashville has a campground that they turn into a huge show.  9 months out of the year it is used for campers but sometime in October the clear it out and start setting up the show.  saw it a year or so back and it was incredible.

Exactly. Campground. The smart about it is there 20, 30 and 50 Amp outlets all over the place so running power is not an issue. The campground during those months are like non-existing as for campers, but they still get a few and have them setup in a little area.
