Logan Mazza
I am desperately trying to convert an audio file in my iTunes library to a compatible format to use in a sequence. I have tried downloading and using Audacity, though it refuses to open the file because it is protected. Many converters I have downloaded only create a converted file that is less than a second long (the song is 2.5 minutes!) Is this a new protection feature on Apple's part? Or am I using the wrong converters? Is there a fix?Thank you!
Brian Mitchell
If you are having trouble, burn it to a CD and then rip it to an MP3.
Don
From what I'm told (don't use iTunes) but there is a way within iTunes to convert to MP3. Might look in the different menus to see if that's the case.
TonyD
Usually you can just right-click on the song in iTunes and select "Create MP3 Version".
