Sabre03
Im stumped. I have the song christmas dont be late. When I play the sequence and the sound comes out of my computer speakers everything is fine. when I broadcast the music over my ramsey we have issues. when alvin says he wants a hula hoop, the word hula hoop is not played at either part in the song. Keep in mind all the rest of the song is played. then i unhook the ramsey and plug in the computer speakers, and suddenly hula hoop is back. Why wont my Ramsey broadcast the word Hula Hoop?If you have any idea, I will greatly appreciate it Jason
viennaxmas
Try reducing the volume on your computer. Most better transmitters have a limiter so if you overdrive the input, it will reduce the volume. Also FM broadcast has a frequency range, usually 75 kHz around the center frequency. If you push too much volume into the TX you may get outside this range. Usually the goal is to get as close as possible to the maximum peak deviation which gives you a great loudness on your radio... Unfortunately not many "hobby" transmitters allowing monitoring these values.. Long story short - try playing with the volume settings of your computer
Sabre03
thank you very much, if that does not help. Is there a program I can run the song through to correct it

Sabre03
I have narrowed the problem down, but need to know how to fix it. the words that disappear during broadcast over the ramsey playback, ONLY play out of the right speaker when I hook up my computer speakers, the rest of the song plays out of both speakers or the left speaker. Stumped, what do i need to change to fix it.
plasmadrive
Push the plug in all the way. Either your Ramsey or your computer most likely has the plug not pushed in all the way.. or you have a bad channel.. or you have a bad cable. Brian Mitchell
Whammo, the makers of the hula hoop are censoring your show for using a copyrighted product.
Sabre03
I was really beginning to wonder. crazy how is the word hula hoop was the only word in the whole song that came in on the right channel
plasmadrive
That was the first LP I got as a kid and I remember Alvin singing that part off to the background. I didn't realize it was in only one channel.. but I do remember it was different..
