Syncind issues

This is my first year.  I have a G3 controller that I am using to run the show.  When I load my SD card, it plays my show out of sync with the music.  Sometimes it is in sync (usually at the beginning of the song) and then by the middle it is playing all wonky.  I tried it from my laptop and it plays everything in sync.  I am not sure what is wrong and need some help.  Please and thank you.

That would very odd, usually an MP3 Director unit will play the sequence EXACTLY as it was sequenced and played on the computer.

The only other thing I could think of is if the MP3 is VBR and sometimes they will work fine in the SE on a computer, but once put on an MP3 Director {at least this is what mine would do, older unit} and the file is VBR, it seems to corrupt the sequence.

So you may want to check and be sure all MP3 audio files are CBR, then reimport the new media file into the sequence, save and create a new show after you have done this with all MP3 files and re-imported them into their appropriate sequence, re-create your show and run it to see if this could be the problem.

If the files are already CBR,  then check the speed at which you're writing the show to the SD card, if too low or too fast {use the recommended setting in the HWU}, then this could also occur.  I have always used the LOR recommended settings for the COMM spend and never had any issues like this, except if the MP3 was VBR, then I had pretty much what you initially described.

If it's not one of these two,  I would be at a loss as to why this would be occuring with such drastic differences between the computer and the MP3 Director.

Good Luck.
