mega tree question

This is my 2nd year using a LOR 16 channel controller. Last year i used 4 channels off my single controller to control a 16 strand 20ft tree. Very simple. I just ordered another 16 channel controller that i intend to use on the tree only. I am using Wow sequences for the display. My question is what can i do to add additional lights to this tree using my existing sequences? I thought is to use 4 different color strands per channel with 2 strands arranged 180° from the other 2. What could you suggest?

Last year, I used 8 white and 8 blue strings. I did mine up and back down so the same string/channel was right beside each other. I have 2 videos on my site, (see signature) that shows what the tree looks like.  I think it turned out well.

 

Up and Over at 180 degrees, like you mentioned is how some do their trees and works well.

 

Just another option.
