Brad Stevens
You should place the radio on a relay. The relay should be mechanical with a 120vac input. Here is a link so a surplus relay that I use all the time.~Brad
Dale
does it matter what wire it is on (white or black) I have a 10amp version of the same relayI have a plug I cut off on the 2 coil blades and I have the radio pluged in with one of the wires cut (black) with the relay in the middle.with the wires going to row 1 and 2 on the relay I belive the Normal close pins. When I supply power the radio comes on but I am a little nervous about pluging it in to LOR to make it work. I have all ready killed to radios
Brad Stevens
Put the relay on the black wire. The black wire is the hot wire, which is the most dangerous wire. Therefore you would want to switch that. There is no need to be nervous about plugging the relay coil into LOR. There is no electrical contact between LOR and the radio. It will work.~Brad
