Guest guest
Hi all. I did a search on this but didn't come up with anything.I'm creating my sequences in the LOR software, and all is going well. I'm one of those learn as you go types, and I came across a playback speed option. This is a great idea, as sometimes you really have a tough time determining exactly at what point in time a musical event happens. This would really allow you to pinpoint. When I try to use it, and play the sequence though, the music starts playing, but the timer bar doesn't move for a good second or two. When it finally starts going, the music is way out of sync with the sequence. If I return it to normal speed, everything is perfect again.I don't think it's a resource issue...my laptop is XP Pro with Pentium M at 2.0GHZ and 2Gig of RAM. There is almost no CPU utilization.Suggestions? Thanks
Guest guest
While I'm thinking about this, I've only used MP3. Would a .wav file act the same way? Just thinking out loud. Thanks
Guest guest
I think that a wave file would work better. The speed control doesn't seem to work correctly with all MP3s.
Guest guest
Yep, that's it. Converted to .wav and speed control works fine. The conversion seemed to add a few 10ths to the beginning of the song for whatever reason, but a little cut and paste and it's all good to go.Thanks Dan.
