Can not get one of my controllers to recognize the signal from the computer

I recently purchased a brand new Light O Rama Commercial Generation 3 controller and once I plug in the cat 5 cable, my computer will not recognize it and the LED display keeps scrolling no connection.  Also, it will not allow a signal to pass to other LOR controllers connected to it.

Try a new cat 5 cable first to eliminate that as your problem.

You have the CAT5 cable on the computer side plugged into the USB adapter, correct? You cannot just plug it directly into the network port on the computer even though it's a CAT5 cable and will obviously fit.
