jmurray726
Greetings to everyone! I am new to this forum and will soon be purchasing my first LOR setup. I've traditionally done static displays for Halloween, (with some creative lighting and fogging) and migrated from c9 to mini lights and rope lighting a couple of years ago for Christmas. My set-ups have been good but let's be honest, static displays get boring. I've got a dedicated 20 Amp line for holiday lights run out to several discreetly located receptacles. My son attends robotic camps every summer so he will be using his soldering skills to help build the kits. We are planning our set up and are targeting Halloween 2014 for our first display. According to some of the reading that I've done I should try to purchase my LOR components during the spring and summer sales. In the meantime we are getting ready to build several items to be used with the LOR, (singing face/s, ect...) I'd love to hear comments, advice and thoughts. Thanks for reading and I hope to hear from you soon Jim
mcmpros
One thing I have found out to help is inventory items on hand, at least as much as possible. This way during off season, if there is such a thing, you have a idea of what you have as well as where new pieces will fit into the mix.
