Papa6058
Where is the best prices at this time of year? Hobby Lobby is only brick and mortar with lights out already and they do not carry R,G,B icicles or C6 strings? Thank you, I know there must be a place with best prices seeing that some folks here are using 50,000+ LEDs WOW so cool.............

plasmadrive
Mine are WS2811 controlled pixel icicles. You can do a simpler version with dumb RGB strips if you don't want to control all the pixels. It would be much easier and faster if you didn't have to deal with data lines. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/hfz7stwszd1gbmr/D-PAvJCi9x I power feed every two meters with 24vdc to 5vdc converters to keep my color temperature the same thru out the entire pixel string of 40 meters. (8 universes) As you can see from the pics, I used the flex strips that are in a sleeve. I ordered them with extra sleeve from Ray Wu. I used the 4 core cables and cut them to the length I wanted and tossed the surplus wire. It gave me a way to interconnect them that was waterproof and polorized. I figured out the data feed thru and power injection scheme based on those 4 core connectors and T's. From the DC-DC converter one injects power on the brown wire and the other direction on the black wire. That way I can keep the data signals going all the way thru 5 meters worth of icicles and still have my plug and play power injection in the same cables.
