Don Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 I've held a few training classes over the past few weeks on various Light-O-Rama topics. While I have some ideas for upcoming courses, I'd be interested to know what you would like to see. Is there something about the LOR Software that you would like to learn about? Send some ideas my way and you may find your topic as one of the next training sessions. One idea I have had ... a training session that's more of a Q&A about the software. Maybe you only want to learn about one thing, or have a question that you just can't get answered. The Q&A session would a longer session, sort of like a come and go, where you can drop in, ask a question, and go on about your day/evening. Any sort of interest in something like that?
bbayjohn Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Hi DonTraining in superstars new features would be great. If this training was available online to refer to when using the program would be awesome.New features such as Smooth effects , making adjustments to Shockwave, spiral and fan. Also a look into the making of VisEffects would be great too.Would be handy if these were online as I wouldn't be able to watch them live because of the time differences between our countries. CheersJohn
Don Posted September 15, 2013 Author Posted September 15, 2013 I will admit that I don't use SS a lot, thus any training session I were to do would be everyone learning the new features together. (And free, for that matter.) Speaking of time differences, is there a good time on Saturday or Sunday that would be good for you? I don't mind adjusting my schedule on the weekends to make the classes more available to those in Australia.
bbayjohn Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Hi DonSaturday or Sunday is good for me, gentlemen's hours would be nice. That would be Friday or Saturday for you. The time here is GMT +10hrs and then there is daylight saving which starts Sunday, 6 October 2013 at 2:00:00 AM clocks are turned forward 1 hour to 3am.
Don Posted September 17, 2013 Author Posted September 17, 2013 Another idea I've had is to have multiple sessions in a 24-48 hour period. Would start sometime on a Friday evening (or 11a Saturday NSW) with 3-4 sessions over the next 48 hours. This weekend (9/21) is a bit short on time, next weekend (9/28) is out due to prior commitments. The earliest I could do this would be the weekend of 10/5. Would you (or anyone else) be interested in a series of classes that weekend? I could schedule everything from LOR Basic Sequence Editor and Visualizer to the recently added LOR Viz. Heck, I might even throw in a free SuperStar class (mostly because I don't use it often.)
JSelph Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 The earliest I could do this would be the weekend of 10/5. Would you (or anyone else) be interested in a series of classes that weekend? The 5th is better for me. I have some random times available on the 6th too. Looking forward to seeing your schedule.
bbayjohn Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Friday evening (or 11a Saturday NSW) with 3-4 sessions over the next 48 hours. Keep us posted, I'm sure we could all learn something.
