I am removing the Red White and Blue lights from my roof and putting up Orange Purple and Green for Halloween. In a few weeks I will put up the rest of the Halloween lights since I do not have a big Halloween display it won't take me long to set it up. I plan to Start setting up for Christmas in Mid-October.

Early November for me, opting out of huge Halloween display this year.  Only had 10 kids, the rest were down town trick-er-treating in the business district.  It's a community event.

I am just putting up my pixel tree and star so the whole operation should take less than one afternoon.  Plan to do that the weekend before Thanksgiving.

I usually don't start until the day after Halloween putting up my Christmas lights, but this is my first year with LOR and I'm installing strip lights for the first time, so I think I'll get a head start in case of any unforeseen issues that may (WILL) arise.

This is my first year, I've got 64 channels, but the setup is going to be pretty basic compared to other displays I've seen.

A 16 channel tree, 14 channels for arches, 16 stars that will be arranged on the roof, one per channel,

and strings outlining the house and windows.

I've got the tree built and ready to assemble and nearly finished making the 42 arch segments.

Still have 5 songs to finish sequencing.

I plan on starting around the first of Nov. and light up Friday after T'giving.

I plan to start right at Halloween.  I start by putting stakes and other support type things out first.  I usually wind up having to mow the grass all the way until the first weekend in November, so I can't put up too much that I can't mow around easily.

This will be my second year and will so the same as before. The day after Halloween, it all comes down. The next day, Christmas starts going up. Last year it took me a week to get it all set up. This year it'll be an extra day as I'm adding a second megatree.
