Lights with own controllers

I have some lighted snowflakes that have a small controller to fade , twinkle , steady on etc.

If I use these with LOR and set to 'steady on' will they work with LOR sequencing?

They should. We actually use one of those controller for the star on the top of our mega tree. If you want to have the lights doing any of the chasing / fading that the controller does, then you need to make sure it has memory. Memory meaning when it gets power it goes back to doing what it was before it lost power.

Now for the most part I think all those controllers default to steady on so if thats all your going to do then you don't need to worry about it having memory.

I want to completly control them with LOR to do fades , twinkle etc. Will this work ?

I do not have my controllers set up at present to try it.

Ya, you should be totally fine with doing that.

Providing the controller isnt transforming anything you can just do what I did last year and moved the controller completely!!
