Guest guest
I was curious what type of cord plugs I should buy? I have access to a bunch of 12/3 at work. Is that overkill? I guess I could make some good extension cords out of it if nothing else. Any suggestions would be appreciated. See ya all 'round.
Guest guest
I use the plugs that Dan sells in his store - Accessories portion of the store. I like the tinned tips.http://store.lightorama.com/accessories.html
Guest guest
That is overkill, IMHO. If you have a lot of 12/3, use it for long extension cords, those things cost a lot in the stores. If you want to just unload some, send it to Ohio. lol Bill
Guest guest
That's what I figured, overkill :devil:But I will probably make some nice extension cords out of them. Now to figure out how long, and how many. I saw the plug ends on Dan's site, I was planning on using those, until I noticed at work today that we have a lot of wire. The only thing we don't have are the female ends. So I was gonng pick those up at Home Depot or something when I get around to building my hobbyist box. Guest guest
You only need 16 or probably 18g for the output seeing as each channel could only handle 8amps.Use 12g for the power cords, that is actually the rgiht size.I also have to say that Dan's cords are great, they are all I use.Zac
