Got you both beat!

The "Redneck Turtle Burger". Take a burger, wrap it in bacon, stick in some hotdogs, throw it on the grill for 20-30 minutes. A little crispy, not too crunchy - just how a turtle should be, no?

Found this on the FB page of a friend of mine who's a professional lighting designer.

All I have to say... I like the way they make bacon!

How do I get a "Bacon Model" for my light show?  I am sure the better half won't mind for at least the first minute.

yea.....  the model wasn't the point, but I knew someone would notice.

I liked the idea because I used to climb around in the ceiling of the theater in college helping set up all the stage lights... I can remember a few times not having some of the lights pointed to the stage, but instead hanging straight down lighting up the plywood, 4 inches from the end of it.   It was a little alarming to notice the area filling with smoke... but no one had turned on the fog machine yet... ah... the smell of Doug Fir smoke...  Very PNW'ern.

Glad I could be "that one" but it's hard to miss long legs, heels, and hot pants!!  And then there is bacon, might not be PC but all good!!

There was a model in one of those videos? All I saw was bacon and bright lights with tilt and pan drives. And lets not forget the bacon. Must be old age that filters out everything except for bacon and fancy lights.

The bacon didn't just walk itself to the bright lights and the roadies were too busy playing.  I saw legs, heels, and then delicious bacon!!!   Followed by bright lights and the rest was pretty much a blur.

Well I did see the bacon on a metal sheet floating out to some kind of stand and then the bright lights. You say that a model was holding the sheet that the bacon was on? I was to mesmerized with the view of bacon.

Uh...  Um.... nah.... just can't...  No comment.

I'm really contemplating finding a bacon dish for dinner tonight though...

So, what is the most memorable Bacon meal you had in your life?

For me I was in Australia about 15 years ago on a college trip.  It was breakfast on one of your first days there, bleary eyed from the time change and staring and trying hard to understand Aussie across the table from me I looked down at my plate eventually and there I saw it.  Three strips of a very thick cut bacon, a couple of eggs, and some toast.  It wasn't the vegemite that attracted my attention or grossed me out.  It was the bacon.  I don't know what they did, or did not do, but there was HAIR... not the chef's hair, but the Pigs hair still on it.

at least you knew it was fresh, I would have freaked if the pigs hair was gray and falling out.

I guess mine would have been during my pre-heart attack/bypass days.  We were band parents and volunteered at the local venue selling beer to raise money for the high school band.  What got me thru many a nasty concert (it was an outdoors place) was knowing the local Waffle House on the way home had something I called the Chet Special.   Bacon lovers BLT with extra bacon fried crispy (heck I would eat it raw but glad I didn't) and hashbrowns with you guessed it bacon!!
