Free 12' Functioning Ferris Wheel Lighted Electrical

I have a Ferris Wheel, custom built that I used in my Christmas display in years past. I would like to give it to an LOR user.

I have not been able to do my display due to health limitations.
I have sold off the majority of my equipment and lights, etc.

I would like to donate or give my Ferris Wheel to who ever can use it. It’s a great wheel, 12 feet high, revolving and with lighting capability. I used teddy bears and stuffed animals in the baskets (seats).

Built on a “A” frame, motorized, made like an erector set, so it can be partially dismantled.
Mostly aluminum straps and rods. Weighs approx 400/500 pounds. Has been sitting outside in elements. Paint has oxidized. Otherwise in excellent shape.

Unfortunately it can not be shipped, it will take a pick up or similar vehicle to transport.
I live in Las Vegas, Nevada. If you live in Nevada, Southern Utah, Arizona, Or Southern, Ca.,
It would be easy to transport, with minimum travel expense.

I want no compensation, just hope that my wheel goes to a good home.

Wow that's an extremely generous offer! Sure wish I was closer.

Yes, that is a very generous offer, sure wish I was closer too, would be nice to have and receive such a generous gift from a fellow LOR user to put in my display.   But I'm waaaaaaay to far away.      One thing I'd do if I would have been able to get and transport it, would be to have a nice plaque made and mounted to the Ferris Wheel honoring the person that I got it from and built it.

As of 8-27-13, LOR Member,John Raymen, has asked for "1st dibs" on the wheel, and I have agreed. He has promised to give it a good home

Thanks for all the interest, and should it become available, I will let all know.

Just wondering, Is it all one 'channel'?

How do you transfer power to the wheel?

Nice work.
