dslowik Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 I'm think I know the answer to this, but after much searching I couldn't find this question/answer anywhere. I've got a many CTB16's and this year am thinking about adding a Holidaycoro's singing face with the DMX dumb strips. I'm looking at adding some type of E1.31 pixels next year. My question is will DMX and E.131 all play together well? Anything I should be aware of from someone with more experience?
viennaxmas Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 It will work fine :-) there are many of us with a mixed setup and as long as the channel mapping and LOR network configuration is correct, it all plays nicely together. LOR did an awesome job Sind you will not see any difference in the Sequencer itself. The underlying configuration defines where the data is sent to.
travis p Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 my set uses both and works fine as long as you don t set gazillion channels
dslowik Posted August 4, 2013 Author Posted August 4, 2013 Thanks, that is the answer I was expecting (and hoped) for.

I'm not sure which singing items you are considering but we'ved added the Singing Christmas Tree and the Singign Pumpkin both with 8mm LED node (dumb or smart) support. You can find those here: http://www.holidaycoro.com/RGB-Singing-Christmas-Tree-p/100rgb.htm http://www.holidaycoro.com/RGB-Singing-Pumpkin-Face-p/17rgb.htm Let me know if you have additional questions.
