jlarson
I purchased some input pups and when I run the hardware it does find the device addressed at 10 but it is listed as unknowen device. I am running version 3.9.0. advanced. What version of software do I need for these to be found as a input pup? Thank You,
Don
This is only a guess, as I do not know the answer. However, my instinct tells me you would need a later version of the software for the device to be found as an Input Pup. The the G3 controllers first came out people reported that older software wouldn't 'see' the controller as a G3 version, but rather an 'unknown device.' This sounds like the same scenario. That said, I don't know of any reason why the device wouldn't work right now. It has an address (UnitID 10) which is needed to program triggers in your display. LightORamaJohn
The Hardware Utility uses the file LOR_DeviceFile.txt in the install directory to map the controller type returned by a Refresh to a text name. If there's no entry in the file for that controller type, you get unknown device. This is purely cosmetic and you can still use the device. I didn't see an entry in the 3.10.6 file, so it got missed. I'll send an email to get it included.
