rainyoregonchristmas
I've added a brand new word to my lighting vocabulary.....No. Yup, "No." As I sit hear suffering from a huge blister on my thumb from pressing lights into plywood and the WORST sunburn I have had in years. And possibly also the beginnings of heat stroke. I have decided to next time I need to just say "no." Yes, it is a wonderful cause. But, no I cannot put lights up at your event. I believe this is probably a lesson that many light vets could have told me from their experiences. Maybe it is something I can pass on to others new to the hobby. Or they just may have to learn it on their own like I did. But take it from me it may be fun to show off your lights, but sometimes when you're too busy with other projects, you should just say "No."
Orville
That's why I work on my {or anyone else's} stuff in the early evening hours and inside my workroom or shed. Just too hot and humid out in the sun in my area.
