New Release, 3.0.16. Countdown timer.

I have added a countdown timer checkbox in the Text effect

Here is how this works

1) Put whole integer numbers as either line 1 or line 2 in the text.

2) Click the "Countdown Timer?" check box

Press play.

Timer will start with the number you entered and count down to zero.

movies came in version 3.0.14. There is no new pull down for a movie, you must convert your movies into jpeg files. The magic is if you open a file whose name is

"xxxx-1.jpg", nutcracker will look to see if you have "xxx-2.jpg" and so on. If it finds a pile of jpegs it starts flipping them and you have a movie.

This is explained in last weeks tutorial

ok dumb me seen the second tutorial where you changed from picking the 0.jpg as first to 1.jpg as first now it works you need to mention that it has changed when I download it from the converter site it starts out as xxxxxx.0.jpg instead of xxxx.1.jpg just some input   by the way   GREAT WORK on your part KEEP IT UP

yep, i had to change. the web page converter makes *-0.jpg, *-1.jpg, *-2.jpg .etc. ffmpeg (the fastrer program with no size limits) creates files as *-1.jpg,*-2.jpg.

so the magic number to start looking for the pile ofr jpeg frames is *-1.jpg.

in summary

1) Create a pile of jpegs. Use the the website or the ffmpeg program

2) Go to the Pictures effect and open the jpg file that is *-1.jpg.

3) Nutcracker will loop though all your jpegs to find the maximum frame number.

4) Press play and you should see movies
