No Tutorial tonight. I will be working late on a project at work. There also will be no Tutorial on the 4th of July. The 11th of July I will be camping with the boys scouts.

Next Tutorial will be July 18th.

Now that Dave Pitts is back, he and I will be working to put more error checking into the Pictures effect. I will post new version within the week.

thanks

sean

video is in 3.0.14. Follow directions in tutorial to create a pile fo frames using ffmpeg.

Just select an image from the Pictures effect. If the image you select has this form

xxxx-1.jpg then the code will look to if there is a xxx-2.jpg and so on. my movie had 6600 frames. so 6600 jpg files. I just gave it the first filename, xxx-1.jpg and the movie started.

I don't have access to the program right now but was placing an order for some lights.....can I run 1 set of 99 pixels (100 string minus 1) up, down and back up again? Or only split in half up/down? Thanks

Any number of folds is supported

so say you bought 4 strings of 100 nodes. you want to fold them 3 times and just loose the 1 extra pixel.

string 1 willl start at the bottom left. up 33, down 33 , up 33

string 2 will again start at bottom and will be up 33, down 33, up 33

and so on

you will end up with a model that is 12 strands wide x 33 pixels high in size , if you had 4 strings/.

I still don't see it  ive loaded nutcracker from 3.0.10  and reloaded all of them back up to 3.0.16 thinking something may be missed in the program and I still don't see a frame movies box on the bottom to set the frame length  I already had 3 movies converted and then I unzipped them to my lor sequence movies directory when I open nutcracker click on pictures then open the jpeg files I click on the first one which ends in 0  but it only shows that 1 picture and I have no frame set box on the bottom am I doing something wrong ive watched you tutorial at least 5 times lol?
