john fulkerson Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 question di you do away with the video feature it doesn't show up on my 3.0.14 download
smeighan Posted June 28, 2013 Author Posted June 28, 2013 video is in 3.0.14. Follow directions in tutorial to create a pile fo frames using ffmpeg. Just select an image from the Pictures effect. If the image you select has this form xxxx-1.jpg then the code will look to if there is a xxx-2.jpg and so on. my movie had 6600 frames. so 6600 jpg files. I just gave it the first filename, xxx-1.jpg and the movie started.
LightsinMaine Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 I don't have access to the program right now but was placing an order for some lights.....can I run 1 set of 99 pixels (100 string minus 1) up, down and back up again? Or only split in half up/down? Thanks

Or only split in half up/down? ThanksAny number of folds is supported so say you bought 4 strings of 100 nodes. you want to fold them 3 times and just loose the 1 extra pixel. string 1 willl start at the bottom left. up 33, down 33 , up 33string 2 will again start at bottom and will be up 33, down 33, up 33and so on you will end up with a model that is 12 strands wide x 33 pixels high in size , if you had 4 strings/.
LightsinMaine Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 that's exactly what I had thought!! Thanks so much for the answer...now I can send my order in
