CCP's in a straight line

I miss my early days of being on this web site.  Lots of ideas shared.  Not so much anymore.

With that in mind, I just wanted to share what is working out very well for myself.  Hopefully some little bit of this information may help you in your own design or approach to keeping pixels in a straight line.

This is how I am installing my CCP's this year.  I am adding 600 pixels to outline my house.  I don't know about other products, but I must say the 6 inch spacing has been right on the money for 9 out of the 10  -50 count strings I've mounted so far.

What they look like   this is video II  -might not be available for another 30 minutes or so as I just uploaded this. Shows some video of them on my house

How I constructed the strips    this is video I

Thanks for the How-to Steve. This is exactly something I was trying to come up with. I am installing 2 sets of my CCPs on my 4 windows this year and was wondering how I was going to do it. This is the perfect solution.

Glad to hear this might help someone.  And just to add to the video, the drill bit size was not critical, as my first bit dulled and I went to the next smaller size in my set,  everything still worked fine.  The metal is so thin, if you use my grinding method, it grinds very quickly.   You cant grind the hole to big.  The pixel wedges itself in the track even if the hole is too large.

They didn't have the aluminum J-channel at my HD. I bought some vinyl instead. I believe it will be fine simply because my longest run is ~5' and vertical. I'll just attach it to my existing frames from last year.

Thanks again.
