This year's Jersey Epic date has been set for June 22, 2013 to be held in Cinnaminson, NJ.

Agenda hasn't been firmed up and most likely will be the normal no formal format.

Darn - I'm having my toenails trimmed that day.  Are you sure you can't schedule it a week earlier or a week later?

Most of the chat is over on the FB page Here

The local hotel we are using is the Quality Inn.  The normal area hotels we have used are all booked up.

Look forward to seeing some new faces there, and YES, Andy finished his patio area :)

Talked to Chuck, he said if you make it out here, he'll take care of that personally for you!

I'm slightly unsure what's the purpose of posting a link for a private group - even if you ARE giving away toenail clipping services...

Time to ramp up this event! Host Andy has confirmed availabilty of his back yard and date is set -- Sat June 22 - 9am till the last person get kicked out.

Hotels in the area are subject at best right now due to some lacross event in the area. If you find one, post it!

Looking for a head count. A new web site is being set up for registration and should be up and running soon by or IT department.

If you're a vendor and wish to donate a door prize, PM me.

As for an agenda - pretty much open at this point. I know some attendees will be bringing along thier 68x controllers and pixels. I'm sure we can get some more ideas soon.

Need to unload some stuff, bring it a long. With that said, bring your wallet so you can pick up some bargins.

(you will see this exact post on all the forums - I'm busy and lazy and have no desire to rewrite, so don't bother me)

This is a great and affordable event to attend!

Excellent presentations which are low key and interactive with the audience, great food, and a chance to interact with some great folks - veterans and newbies alike.

Were it not for work related scheduling problems on my end, I would certainly be there again!

Some very interesting things were first demonstarted at the event (which is very close to Dan Baldwin's neck of the woods), so I am sure some surprises await attendees!

Registration is now open for this year’s EPIC to be held on June 22, 2013 in Cinnaminson, NJ.  Registration is $30 and included light breakfast, lunch and Andy always throws something interesting on the grill later.

Time looks to be around 9:30AM and typically goes till long after dark.

Registration site:   http://www.epic-christmas.com/

The event has been well received in the past and looks to be the same again this year. It is held outside in Andy’s back yard, rain or shine.  We boast an extremely casual set up – most of the time is spent just BS’n.

This year’s agenda:   There is none!!

Some topics we will most likely have are:

Software options;

            LOR, LSP, Vixen – what is common what is different.

Hardware options;

            From plug and play LOR to DYI stuff such as Renards.

LOR and DMX – how they play together

Pixels and more Pixels

            What types of controllers are out there?

How do Madrix and Nutrocker work in your show?

Anyone that has some knowledge of any of these topics, please bring along your hardware / software and show it off!!!

We will have a short presentation on the 681 controller and how it will run different types of pixel nodes as well as DMX out to be able to run your other types of controllers!

Another presentor will be  going over Madrix and it's features and how it works with LOR.
Also on tap will be  how to solder SMDs. We have seen a recent trend to the use of these components on some new boards. Should be interesting to see a 'pro' give some tips and tricks.
There will be some other presntations as soon as we line up some speakers. :)
All in all, shaping up to be a great day.
