indi
I just got a replacement controller and have been trying to set it up, but I can't get it done. I have configured it with ID 06, updated the firmware, but a few lightS (pixels) remain on all the time, One string has onr bright red, one low level red, and one low level green. The other string has one low level green and one low level red. I tried to run a sequence that I had exported from super star and nothing. When I was configuring the controller , the led on the borad was blicking and after it was configured, the led stays on steady. The hardware utitlity has found the controller and idendentified it. I can't get the controller to do anything from the consoled either. When I bring up the Hareware utility or the sequence editor, the led on the controller is steady, but when I get out of either it blinks, but the few pixels stay lighted.Any suggestion? bisquit476
Probably need to open a trouble ticket, and see what LOR recommends. Maybe try to reset the controller?
indi
Yep, done that. Hope they can help. I just ordered 4 more of these. Thanks
indi
I thin I got it figured out. When I connected one of my controllers up, it started to smoke. LOR sent me a new one, and I connected the strings from the working controller to the replacement controller and everything worked. Took the strings that where connected to the controller that smoked and connected them to my first controller and they didn't work. They must have gotten damaged when the controller took a dump. I'm very happy with LOR's warranty. I replied to LOR from the trouble ticket I opened about this. Waiting to here from them.
