Well winter is almost over. I am ready to get out in the yard and get the yard back to normal. It is the time of the year were the forum slows down a bit not really ready to start sequencing yet. I need tomato cages. I suppose I am just getting the winter blues(or whatever you want to call it).anyone else feel this way?

I am busy working on this years show. A lot of new RGB elements. I hope to have everything done and at least partially sequenced.

I look forward to warmth, and getting out in the yard, as well as the golf course.

I'm chomping at the bit to remove my large corner bush and build a new lighted flowerbed.  Plus get my garage cleaned up and install my new lighting element.

I'm ready for spring, kinda. I say kinda because the summer comes next.

I like the cooler air and hate the heat and if we have another record breaking hot summer like the last two years, I'm not looking forward to that.

Im waiting for Trafficman to get outside and build his mega tree (for me to steal)

Seriously I dont want the winter to go away as its so short for us Florida guys.   I do look forward to all the build threads though.

Winter almost over?    Perhaps, but Sunday night 2/17/2013-Monday morn 2/18/2013, We in Florida got a nice, or would that be nasty? surprise, we actually for the first time over this winter season actually got a FREEZE!   Had ice on my SUV's windows and roof, had chunks of ice frozen to the sides and floating in my water fountain birdbath, temp dropped to 31 degrees by my thermometer, but the report from the main source, OIA, only said it only got to 34 degrees in Orlando from local news reports.   I did take a photo, which isn't a good as I hoped, of the bird bath with the ice in it and the thermometer showing 31 degrees.

So yea, I am ready for spring, putting in a storage shed so I don't have to keep paying for a storage unit, let alone loading and unloading the car to get to my display elements every year.    So as long as it's cool and not too hot, I'm ready.

Oh boo-hoo-hoo, cry me a river...

I've got over two miles of extension cords locked in 2-3 inches of ice that won't even start melting by the time the calendar says it's spring.

When we see 31 degrees we'll be outside doing a happy dance - it's only gonna be -8 tonight with a wind-chill somewhere in the -30 range...

Well George, Orv had 31 but we had 24 here on the other coast, does that count??  I moved to Florida for the warm weather, not the freezing crap I had to put up with in Illinois.  If you want to visit George, I will make room for you, just bring a few extra controllers for rent.  And maybe you can sequence a song or two for me.

I still have things that were in last year's show, that were really rushed into service.  I've got to grind a bunch of stuff down, make some changes, and get it sent out to powder coating for use this year.   Then I still have a bunch of construction for this year.  And, it was already really close to feeling too warm to be welding out in the sun Saturday.  And Sunday was too windy to be welding.  Before long I'll be playing Roulette between suffering heat stroke, and getting stuff done in time...

I know you northerners have it much worse.  We get these fun hurricane things on occasion but those come and go.  You guys are locked up for months at a time.

Your making me second guess my eacape plan. I was looking to get out of Illinois and make it to Florida. It has to be better.
