I have some red. Did away with my blue ones a few years ago. Still holding on to my green. You might have to resort to changing over multi color to solid color one bulb at a time. I did it a few years ago for icicles. It isn't fun but do it while you are watching TV.

Sheldon, I have a bunch from around my windows. Never have been outside. I'm trying to go LED next year. They are tie wrapped or twist-tied together. They are made into 9 or 10 bundles. 3,427 bulbs total

I'd be willing to part with them for actual shipping costs to me, plus $30 to the charity that my box donations went to this year (St. Anne's Episcopal Church in Reston, VA). Your parents can cut the check and it should be tax deductible. That is $.88 per set of 100 lights.

I test and replace any blown bulbs every year. So, they were all working two weeks ago.

If you have a relative or friend in the DC area, they could pick them up from me and either ship them or bring them next time that they see you.

Let me know.

I'm currently doing with with some LED multis that I bought. It isn't so bad. I kind of find it therapeutic. Key is to do it while they are plugged in and just swap two bulbs at a time. Otherwise, when you are done, you are likely to have a dead set and not know which bulb caused the problem.
