berniebean
i am planning on using 7 cosmic color pixel sets for my display. will i be able to do it with just two easy light linkers? or will i need to buy a third one? i plan on setting up a 360 degree tree, would i be better to use the CCB's or CCP's ?i don't think the ribbons will work for what i want? any suggestions? thanks
k6ccc
I would think that CCBs would be better than CCPs for a 360 degree tree.Unless you are only going to be using slow changes, you will have huge problems with ELLs with 700 pixels They simply aren't fast enough to handle 2,100 channels. I would STRONGLY recommend running Cat-5 to your tree and you should plan on at least two networks and if you are going to do fast stuff, go with three. The exception to that is you should be able to tun only one network if you can use "SuperSpeed" (and I can't remember if the CCBs handle SuperSpeed). You have to run power out to the tree, run Cat-5 for the network(s) too. plasmadrive
I think LOR told me 3 or 4 CCRs per ELL channel. I have 6 CCRs that I wanted to run with ELLs but never did because of how slow they are.
