Screwy weather

I finished taking my decorations down Friday and Saturday. I waited because of the weather forcast a week ago. Who would of guessed in the middle of January in N.E. Indiana that I would of been able to take decorations down in my short sleeve shirt. 57 degrees Friday and 59 degrees Saturday. I don't know for sure why we are getting all of this screwy weather thru the country, But if it would be like this every January in N.E. Indiana for the tear down week, it would be ok by me.

Same here in Wheeling WV, When the ground was frozen (last week) I took down all my inflatables (no mud) and yesterday and this is amazing I took down and neatly packed away the entire light show in one day, it was 64° here

Yeah, it was almost 70 here in Tennessee. I finished putting everything in the garage. Best temperature for taking things down that I can remember.

We had wet weather while it was warm, so I didn't get much down. Friday night at Midnight was our high temp for Saturday, so I got up at 6am, it started off ok around 39 degrees, but then the wind kicked in and temps started dropping. I got most of it done. Went outside this morning and came back in.

I took my display down in 2 days. Jan. 1st & 2nd & the weather was decent finally after 7 straight weeks with temps reaching no higher than -15c. Jan. 1st & 2nd we reached -1c & 0c ....which is 32F & that was great walking around in a spring coat. However try living in a place like here where the one day you are at 45F & that night you are -12F, & 1 day later your at 12F then -2F that night & buy Tuesday your looking at 45F again....that is normal march weather, but not January.

However dispite the 20 inches of snow on the ground I got to take down the whole display, all the controlllers, all the extension cords, eveything & it is all put away.

Temps here have been great, mid to high 60's, my trouble is we can't get the sun to come out and dry anything off (rain or dense fog). And i do not want to put every thing away wet, or bring it all in the house to dry out.
