RGB LED Cube

Has anyone ever build one of these RGB LED cubes and used it in there display?

You would have to make it large enought to be seen from the street, say 16 x16 x16. It would be very cool.

You know that thing is about 3 inches by 3 inches. Would be neat but on a larger scale the sequencing and the amount of LEDS would be staggering.

Yes I've seen that. Most of them are 4x4x4, or 8x8x8. Like I said you would have to make it about 16x16x16 to do any good in a Christmas display. A ton of work but very, very cool!

To do this right you would have to build your own. These run on a pre programed pattern. Say..... use superstar to program it?

no reason you couldn't use other products though. but, as mentioned, the pixel count would get large.. fast.
