steve synek Posted January 4, 2013 Share Posted January 4, 2013 I just left a local Walmart, they had a bunch of incandescent icicle lights and seemed like a few hundred C9 Multi colored LEDs. George Simmons Posted January 4, 2013 Share Posted January 4, 2013 The Walmart store I visited today didn't have any lights that interested me, but I DID walk out of there with eight 6.5 ft tall artificial trees for just over 9 bucks each.People sure look at you funny when your cart is overflowing with boxed Christmas trees... Klayfish Posted January 4, 2013 Share Posted January 4, 2013 Went to my local Wal-Mart last night (I live in a very small town), and pickings were slim as far as lights go. No incans at all...no nets, nothing. The only LEDs they had were the C9 multicolor, of which they had cases upon cases. Since my budget for Christmas stuff is always super tight, I grab whatever I can and make it work in my display. So I grabbed 25 boxes of those. I also picked up another 3 of the 6ft trees for $5 each and a 6.5ft white tree for $9. Plus assorted stuff for inside our house.Yes, the looks I got were hysterical....my cart was literally overflowing with stuff. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
dgrant Posted January 4, 2013 Share Posted January 4, 2013 I checked out Walmart, Target, Home Depot, Lowes and BigLots. All pickings were very slim indeed. I think they all ordered less this year so they would have less stock on-hand to sell off at the end of the season. I also noticed their sales started up earlier than usual this year.
