shfr26
Granddaughter got us up about 4:30 or so this morning to open her packages. I stayed up with her after that and everybody else went back to bed. About 9:30 I told her I was going back to bed because I did not feel well. Around 12:30 I got back up and saw her in her bedroom, on the bed crying. Being the good Grandpa I am, I went in and asked her what was wrong. Her answer to me was, " I don't feel good either, but if I tell anybody, they won't care if you are sick so I can't tell. You just go ahead and be sick, Okay Grandpa??" Well with a few tears in my eyes I told her that I was better and she could go tell her mom that she did not feel good. She got out of bed and threw up and said "Thank you Grandpa". What a great kid she is.
