Bob Hall
For me, it is "I am Santa Claus". I noticed last night that seemed to be the song that people pulled away from the most. Tonight, I decided to keep an eye out the window and as of this post, all 10 cars pulled away while that song was playing. I told the wife that song isn't going to make it back for next year and she whines, "But I like that song"......sigh...
jeffl
I would have to agree if it's the song I found. But in your case you better find something better she and they like because we all know what happens when the wife isn't happy.
George Simmons
For me it was Sail Along Silvery Moon. I say was because it played for the last time yesterday. Sharon also made a face when I told her from here on it exists only in video. But after a few seconds she admitted that maybe it was a bit slow for keeping people's attention. That's quite contrary to your song, however.
JeffF
Dancing Queen... but it's staying since we like it.
harrison0550
I just redid my song list last night because I started seeing people drive off on certain songs. De Trommelslager
Traditions of Christmas by Mannheim Steamroller drives 'em away in droves. It's too bad because it is probably my most solid sequencing work yet.On the other side of the coin Wizards in Winter is the most popular in our list. All we have talked to request it. SteveMaris
I would have to say Blue Christmas by that fat, dead guy.I repeat it every five songs though to make people move on and let the next batch watch the show. It has been loaded with cars outside this week.
Bob Hall
I had one car stay through the whole song, lol I'll keep it in this year just for the reason Steve has Blue Christmas. lol
rainyoregonchristmas
Jingle Bells by the Barking Dogs. Wife and daughter love it... Viewers, viewers, don't.Too bad, it also follows wizards in winter that's probably a part of it.

Gary Blair
I've found that the lenght of the song has a lot to do with it. The shorter the song the better. A four minutes song even if the sequencing is great is a long time for the viewer - especially if it is not one of their favorate songs. I try to edit my songs to two minutes or less and it seems to help keep the show moving and the crowd staying. Just my 2 cents.
Loutampa
Gary is right.Try and sequence to approx 2mins, this will keep all interested.Drive by favorites this year have been,Gangnam StyleWizzardsMerry Christmas Everyone.I also had to axe 3 songs, but replaced it with a great version ofLittle Drummer Boy by Ringo Starr.. This has been a great hit.Awkward to program, but worth it..Lou
Ed Slonka Jr
Unfortunately, mine seems to be 'A Soldiers Silent Night'. There is no way I am taking that out of the rotation because without their sacrifices we all would not be able to enjoy this wonderful hobby!I feel there are kids in those cars and the lights don't go blinky blinky like the rest of the songs and they get bored and the parents leave.Ed Edited December 23, 2012 by Ed Slonka Jr
Guest Don Gillespie
I don't know my medley from last year is still a crowd favorite 17 and half minutes long, songs from the 50's right up to present day, I think the choice of music is still the most important. I even have one from the fat, dead guy LOL people love it, in my case anything slow got the axe this year, silent night, O Holy Night, stuff like that. dannyv6
This thread is funny. My song is run run Rudolph. It the first song I sequenced. So I keep it. It reminds me how much better I am at this now.

I love light shows but I don't want to be stuck in front of a house for 45 minutes wondering when it will end.For me the show stopper was God Bless the USA remix. David Rise
I thought about getting rid of MBD, but last night I heard some of the kids say they like it....so it stays. But I'm definitely going to resequence that one.But I do know that some of the songs are too fast and there's a lot going on. Honestly, it hurts my eyes to watch some of the ones with a faster beat. Crazydave
"The Christmas Song (Chestnuts roasting on a open fire)" seems to get people to 'move along' It's pretty slow and unexciting. But it's really nice... and has some really smooth and nice fades.
