ItsMeBobO
A compilation of shots from several songs. Prior to 500k I was a little disappointed with how this big board looked. But now I feel much better. This matrix is about 4 foot square and holds 600 pixels 6 CCPs. David at HolidayCoro.com made the panels for me as a custom order. http://itsmebob.com/...trix24x25sm.wmv

Ken Benedict
Bob - Great display you put together.I'm interested in the story behind the two side panels; are those strips or modules or what? How are they arranged and how many channels? ItsMeBobO
see here third year for these. One CCR in each box cut and mounted on coro in 5 strips of 10 pixels.
Big Mur
Bob - Great job.For the Matrix, what frame-per-second were you using on the animations? I have found that 10 FPS is choking even at 500k. I dropped to 5 FPS and it is smooth on slow matrix transforms, but I still get a visible refresh with very complex sequences. Using the right transformations and I get fantastic results, but the wild, quick stuff is still struggling slightly.
ItsMeBobO
There is no frame rate. Marquee creates compressed image clipboards. I would be happy to give you a complete explanation if you start a new topic. There are some videos along with the marquee & vegomatic software on the download page in my sig
WilliamS
You control the frame rate with the paste functions in a way. Ive run some heavy stuff into mine just for personal S&G's and never had it hang up. Ive dumped a 100meg GIF file into the marquee maker, it fought and screamed but I was able to get output.

Yes goofy you can spread the commands out over any amount of time (larger or smaller) with the stretch to fit option. What was trying to get at is that in any image, not every pixel needs to change at the same time. Many pixels may be able to stay at the same color while others around it do change color. So the sequence should not send a command for an intensity / duration and then the next frame send the same intensity / duration. Consolidating the two commands into one longer one to reduce the number of commands sent. With that in mind there is no actual frame of all commands sent at once. Each pixel is sent its command when it needs to change. Objects moving over a background is another example. Only the pixels where the text is moving to and moving from need to be updated. The color of other pixels not overlapped by text dont need any commands sent.
