Missing something, can't get E1.31 output to work

Well, I've finally gotten around to trying the E1.31 output of LOR, and I'm obviously doing something wrong because I can't make it work. I went into network preferences and defined DMX universe 8 as E1.31, multicast. I took an existing sequence and changed the channels that I use for Madrix remote control from type standard LOR device (I had been using an idmx1000) to type DMX universe 8.

When I play the sequence, I don't see any E1.31 being output on universe 8, either using Sacnview or Wireshark. Obviously I'm missing something. I do have an RS485 output dongle that I use to drive the LOR controllers.

Do you have an advanced license? (I'm assuming these options don't even show up unless you do, but since I've never had a non-advanced license, I thought I'd ask...)

Second question: Do you have the LOR control panel running? The "light bulb" must be visible in the system tray for either native DMX or E1.31 to work, even with the Sequence Editor. Also, "Control Lights" must be checked in the Play menu.

+1 I went through the fun of geting LOR to drive Madrix the day our show went live. Had a little "fun" even though I had previously driven an E681 from LOR...
