David Castaldo
I am looking for ideas and examples of how to use the servodog hardware. This could be an added dimension to our displays. What do the outputs do? What do they inputs do? Does anyone have video clips of their projects? To send me a video or a link to a video, my email is davidjcastaldo@msn.com.ThanksDave
k6ccc
I have two of them. Right now I'm only using a single input on one of them, and 2 outputs (1 PWM and 1 digital) and 2 inputs of the other. Once I complete the landscaping project is completed, I will be using a couple more outputs and a total of 8 to 10 inputs. I bought them primarily as multi-input devices. I have zero plans to use any servos.
Preston Meyer
I don't have a video but this year I had a servo dog running a "ouija" board seance for Halloween. Had two talking 3 axis skulls (4 servos each) asking the ouija board questions and the remainder of the digital outputs running relays to operate pneumatic cylinders that positioned the "planchette" (ouija indicator thing) and ran some lights for effects. (need to have low draw relays or a driver board.)

Techster
Boston Bob,Great penguins, would love to see the jaw mechanism, from the pictures I couldn't quite tell how or where the jaw servo was located - any info would be insightful. Thanks,Mike
bobschm
Not sure if I can easily get a photo now. The jaw works like the elevator on a model plane. The lower jaw is hinged with a cloth hinge and a wire from the servo at the back of the head pushes forward and back pushing the mouth shut or pulling it open.
