Tonight I noticed my lights were not on

When I went to laptop that runs show I noticed an error box up....dont know if it happened when show started or when I turned laptop on....I just hit the power button and walked away. I clicked "OK" on the error box code by accident before I could fully read what it said but when I clicked on it my LOR in system tray icon immediately went to red. I think the error said the words LOR monitor or something in it but I cant be sure because I closed it too fast.

As soon as I "enabled schedule" the show started up fine.

I disabled the show, restarted the laptop just to be sure all was ok.

Show seems to be running fine now although my first sequence which my voiceover announcement did not seem to have all the lights on at first but now show is running fine.

Is there any log I can check to see what error I encountered since I closed the dialog box too quick. ?

Not sure, but, you may have encountered the memory leak problem. LOR just released a new version of their software (3.9.0) to fix it.

I am actually using version 2.8.10 Never upgraded my license to V3 but will probably do so next year.

Show ran fine all night last night..... restarted laptop this morning and LOR loaded fine in system tray with schedule enabled. Edited my schedule to go on in about 15 minutes and re-enabled. Re-started laptop and left it and show started fine again .

Hoping it was just a hiccup of the software or my lapttop

You dont have your sequences that run in a goggle cloud, dropbox, or other program that allows multiple access? This can cause a problem. The memory leak could show up if your computer hasnt been restarted in any dicernable amount of time as well.

I think LOR also released updates to previous versions to correct the memory leak. See the important announcements section.

BTW the work around was to periodically disable shows and then re-enable shows.

Thanks....I always re-boot computer every night at least. I did notice that when I first saw the error (whatever it was) it disabled the shows and once I re-enabled everything ran fine last night. But like I said..... several tests today ... so far so good

I thought I read in a previous post that the memory leak only happens in certain versions of S3

Goofy guy...no stand a lone laptop in house running show to 6 controllers total
