need4sp471
I am not even sure how to search this issue so I will try to discribe it. I am using all LED lights. This issue started 2 days ago it was working fine before. So on one Channel the first string of lights are working and the 2 strings after that stopped working. I thought one of the lights went out or fuses so I took the string of lights connected to the working one inside to figure out what the problem is but when I plugged it in the wall it worked fine. I went back out and plugged it back where it was and nothing. I plugged it in other stings on other channels and works perfectly. There has to be an issue with the first sting of lights but I do not know how it is working perfectly but nothing will work connected to it. I think I can swap it to the last string of lights in this channel and everything will work but I would like to figure out what the problem is as these are new lights. Has anyone had any similar issues?

LORisAwesome
Sounds like a problem with the first string of lights to me. Possibly a bad plug or the jumper wire the bypasses the lights to feed the plug.Jerry
George Simmons
I'm with Jerry. Check the wiring of the first string.I had almost the exact same problem a few years ago and it turned out that one of the bypass wires in the last string that was lighting was critter-chewed
need4sp471
Yes I figured it was a issue with the first string. So when it was critter chewed the lights string worked perfectly but nothing connected to it would work? I will look closer at the string when I get home. Thanks
George Simmons
It just so happened that the critter only chewed through one wire, although others had teeth marks. That was back in the day of a static display so hopefully the critter got a mouth full of electrons and didn't like the taste.
need4sp471
Looks light you guys were right. About 2 weeks ago one of my strings got cut and I thought it was a neighbor that did not like the display. I put up cameras all over the house. Last week this happened. I went back and looked and it was just one line that was cut. I was able to fix it then reviewed my cameras and found a rabbit ate through it. The very next day the same line was cut in about 6 places. I reviewed my cameras again and it was another rabbit just eating through the string for like 10 minutes. I replaced the string and sprayed liquid fence all over them. I hope this will keep them away.
