mrduncan Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 I don’t hear much about use of Holiday Light Designer as a LOR visualizer. I’ve been using this for about 4 years now and I am in the process of converting over to LOR Visualizer (seem to be the preferred visualizer and seems to have greater capabilities than HLD). Even though HLD was somewhat cumbersome to use, all my light props in HLD were basically JPG pictures of my light props. In LOR Visualizer, is one limited to having to build all the light props from scratch or is there also a way to insert a JPG light props into LOR Visualizer?
Don Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 You have to rebuild them with lights. The 'jpeg' thing is in the wishlist. The easy way to build them is to bring the picture of them into the Visualizer. Blow the picture up, then trace it with light strings. When done, save it as a prop or fixture. Now you can import that prop/fixture into your real simulation and resize it to fit your stage.
Trickyd Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Try LOROC to make props out of your jpgshttp://www.shannonclaus.com/LOROC/LOROC.htmlIt worked for me
