No lights or animation

I can play animation and music in the sequence editor but I can not get it to play when I load show from on demand or .simple show builder . what am I missing?

What does it do (or not do) specifically? Does music play but no lights, lights but no music, neither?

Do you still have the SE open when trying to play a show? You can only do 1 at a time.

How about the use visualizer check box in control panel? It should be unchecked.
