Audio conversion

Hi all,

When I have a sequence on my desktop and everything seems to work ok and then move things to my show computer(laptop), on some sequences I will get an "Audio conversion" or "Cannot Initiat Audio conversion" error.

Any ideas on where to start looking?

There's a program called Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/) that's free and is quite good at converting audio to the standard output we prefer at Light-O-Rama. The program is a bit geeky and you need to read the screens carefully, but it gets the job done.

We have instructions on how to convert your MP3 to CBR using 'Audacity' and the 'LAME MP3' encoder. Both tools are free. The instructions can be found on this page: http://www.lightorama.com/PDFs.html entitled 'Preparing MP3 Files for Sequencing'.

Go with Goldwave v5.12.. also free, muuuuuch easier to use. converts anything to anything.

I just downloaded Goldwave and it is not free. It says so right in the greeting. It will work for awhile but then you dump it or buy it.
