mattpatt Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Finally got the display up and running tonight. Five minutes later I had my first visitor! Awesome! I am hooked now! All this hard work has paid off. The main items in my display are two CCR double arches, 5 mini trees and RGB dumb strings on the house, around garage door and front window. I had to work late at work on projects pretty much all of November so this put a damper on my plans to start putting stuff up after Halloween. I got started two weeks ago and just now got finished as I had to make all the control cables and everything for my display which took time. Next year everything should go up quicker. Running two LOR AC controllers and one DC controller I built myself. EDM transmitter for the sound. Started sequencing in June and was able to turn out 6 songs with the help of the fine folks on this board. Now I'm already thinking MEGA tree and two more controllers for next year!Matt

jstorms Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 It's a warm fuzzy feeling knowing you made a Christmas moment for a kid. Wait for the letter from a family with a sick kid and how it lifted their spirits. You'll cry like a baby. It changed the reason why I do a show.
