Gugel1983 Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Ok...I am kind of new to this, but I have a strand of LED lights that have a very noticeable flicker when the others are on steady. When I say noticeable...they are flash on and off when others connected to it is on steady. I bought the lights on sale from a closeout store. The lights still work. I was wondering what I needed to do to correct this, beside replacing them.
George Simmons Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 If they're flashing on and off when they're supposed to be steady on, I'd say there's something more wrong than either you or I know how to fix. Pitch them.If they appear to be flickering when you move them of when you move your head and see them in your peripheral vision, that's a sign of it being a low-end half-wave product. Again, nothing you or I know enough to fix or change. If you don't like the look, see advice above. If it's happening only on fades, you could try adding a small resistive load to the channel - an old air freshener, perhaps, or a set of incandescent lights to see if that smooths things.
LORisAwesome Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 You might check the fuses and be sure they are seated properly.Jerry
Gugel1983 Posted December 5, 2012 Author Posted December 5, 2012 The fuses were the problem...thanks jerry
