drn1377 Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Oh boy, this was not a good way to start the morning. I noticed a channel stuck on this morning and thought that it was just a simple triac that failed and then after the normal troubleshooting I opened the case and here is what I found! Can't catch anyone on the phone at LOR and assumed they were extremely busy with guys like me so I submitted a sevice request and now we wait. Pretty bummed, as this is one of the lead controllers of the show and just got the thing running four days ago.
drn1377 Posted December 3, 2012 Author Posted December 3, 2012 oops, just realized that! We'll try it again.
Dave Batzdorf Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Is the entire controller gone or just that channel? Can you assign another channel?
Tim Fischer Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Do you know what happened? Bug?I'm starting to think that those of you who use boards in warm climates need to insulate the bottom inside of the heat sinks or something...
PeKu Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Do you know what happened? Bug?I'm starting to think that those of you who use boards in warm climates need to insulate the bottom inside of the heat sinks or something...Haha was just gonna type the same suggestion..just a little electrical tape around the bottom will likely prevent the death of dozens of boards a year..play safe everyone and keep it wrapped up!..hahaha ok that came out a little wrong
drn1377 Posted December 3, 2012 Author Posted December 3, 2012 I did find a little bug in there but still have not found out how he got in there. It's pretty well sealed up.......
LOR Staff Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 PM me your ticket number so I can take a peek.
LOR Staff Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 I reviewed your ticket, and it appears the parts were sent out yesterday.Being in FL, I'll bet that it WAS a lizzard.( to the lizzard, for you)
